Car Photography

During my internship in Meppel at Up North, I was given an assignment to improve my photography skills using a Sony camera with a Konica 52mm lens. For this assignment, I had to learn how to work with the aperture and shutter speed. I was asked to photograph something I liked at home, so I decided to photograph my father’s 25-year-old BMW Z3, which was built in the year 2000.

BMW Z3, Hood
This is my favorite shot of all the photos I’ve taken of the BMW Z3, as it gives off a mysterious vibe, leaving you curious about what kind of model this car is.
Mustang shelby
While I was visiting my family in South Africa, we were on our way to Kleinmond, Cape Town. We made a quick stop at a gas station to grab something to eat when we got a surprise visit from six Mustang Shelbys on their way to Knysna for the Hill Climb. It was a rainy day, but I had the opportunity to take some photos of these amazing Shelbys.

Adobe Lightroom Classis & Photoshop
After taking the photos, I edited them in Adobe Lightroom Classic. I wanted to create a dark yet vibrant vibe, so I focused mainly on adjusting the saturation and color blocks to make the cars really stand out. In Photoshop, I resized the images to a 4:5 format to maintain their sharpness and texture when posting them on social platforms
